Amber McLure Hutton is the artist behind New Finn Art and lives in Torbay, Newfoundland with her young son, Frank and her Husband.

Amber is a self taught Artist and enjoys working with Watercolour and Acrylic Paints.

She is inspired by the unique and distinctively Newfoundland culture and the great beauty of this rugged and serene Island.

Amber grew up and attended Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Northern Ontario. She Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree Majoring in Psychology. She then went on to complete her Post Graduate Studies in Safety Engineering Technology at the College of North Atlantic in St. John's.

She feels at home in Newfoundland, having lived here and set roots for the past 12 years. Amber has developed a deep love for the landscape and people.

In the past few years Amber returned to her passion of painting and has gained a growing following, with her art being loved locally and nationally.
Her artwork has been featured on HGTV's "Rock Solid Builds" filmed here in Newfoundland.
